Do you also find yourself lost in the time gone by, wondering how swiftly it passes? It seems like yesterday when our toddlers were taking their first steps, and now they’ve grown into tiny humans with a million ideas to explore. I recently found myself lost in a drive of old photographs, recollecting the moments that slipped through our fingers like grains of sand and how Complan protein has played a big role in my son’s growing years.
From a little crawler, my precious boy, Penguin, has grown into a curious soul, endlessly questioning the world around him. Now, he’s a bundle of energy, growing with full gusto for adventure. It makes us happy to see that but I am also concerned.
You see, my son was born as an IUGR child, that is, his fetal weight was low. For years I have kept a keen eye on his growth and development. One might think that I fret over whether he’s getting the right balance of nutrients in his meals, especially when life gets busy and my attention is pulled in a hundred different directions.
Thankfully, I’ve discovered a saviour in our Indian cuisine, with its array of nutrition-rich food items that help children in their overall development. Besides that, there are also protein-rich options like lentil dosa, dhokla, dalma and whatnot. But even so, the constant juggle of work and home life leaves me feeling drained. There is a lingering worry echoing in my mind.
Protein in Complan
In our daily routine, Complan seamlessly blends in. Complan has 100% milk protein and it contains 63% more protein than other nutrition drinks. Thus, it’s a trusted companion in my home. I want my child to grow to the fullest and Complan with 34 vital nutrients supports my concern. As per scientific findings, children need a balanced blend of vital proteins, fats, and carbohydrates.
Adding Complan to Penguin’s balanced diet, I am at peace even amidst the chaos of busy days or during prolonged periods away at work.
Whether I’m rushing out the door to catch a morning meeting or caught up in the whirlwind of daily chores, knowing that my son has his balanced diet and protein in Complan to ensure his overall growth, I know I am doing my best.
And oh, the memories it evokes – those iconic “I am a Complan boy/girl” ads from my childhood. They’re more than just ads on T.V. It’s a connection to my childhood and now my child’s with its goodness and taste.
In addition to giving milk with Complan, I try to ensure that Penguin is receiving a diverse array of nutrients to support his growth and development. So, I try to make his meals full of fruits, veggies, whole grains, and healthy fats. There is a healthy mix of flavours and textures that nourish both body and soul. Also, I strongly believe that there should be a positive relationship with food right from childhood. One should be able to celebrate the richness of diverse food, celebrate the burst of flavours in every bite and enjoy the food.
A growing child needs support for cognitive development
So, as I continue on this journey of motherhood, I’ll choose to rely on the comforting presence of Complan, a piece of the balanced diet puzzle in ensuring my child grows up happy. Also, it is a scientifically designed formula that supports memory and concentration.
I often feel, Penguin is like a whirlwind of energy. The uninterrupted motion machine is always buzzing with excitement and curiosity. From morning until bedtime, he’s on the move, exploring everything under the sun with uninhibited enthusiasm. Whether he’s chasing butterflies around the park or living on imaginary adventures in his little kingdom, he is full of curious energy. This physical activity is much needed for his bone health too.
He would learn a million things by playing, exploring and asking. and that will stay with him for long. It would build him for the future.
How do you ensure your child is thriving, happy and healthy? Do you plan your child’s meal? How do you plan protein intake? I’m curious to hear from you.
